About Me

Robert Bradley
Name:                         Robert Stuart Bradley
Home:                         Mansfieldwoodhouse, Nottinghamshire
Age:                            38
Occupation:               Radiographer

Favourite cyclist:

Nick Craig, he is the most approachable guy in the paddock.  Saw him podium in an Elite National xc at Margham last year, he is just fantastic.  David Fletcher, he is a local lad going on to great things, however he always is really polite and level headed, a great role model in our sport.

Who are some of the most important people in your life and career?

Local riders like Michael Powell (vet marathon champ) have inspired me to take a more serious look at competition and his determination is great.  My family Dawn, Emily and Amy are my world though.

Favourite place to ride?

Coed-y-Brenin is king, I love it there, and it seems to have everything.  I live near the Peak District and so have lots of good riding, however I have a little route around Stanage Edge that I keep all to myself when I want to just ride.

Favourite Race?

Kielder 100 has to be up there, I wouldn’t say it was my favourite race as 5 miles before the end, I bonked and thought I was never going to make it alive.  Its there because it was the hardest thing I have ever done.

I am not the fittest, fastest or best xc rider out there but I do enjoy what I do.  I tend to be better at the longer distance and team events which I think, tend to be more about will power than raw talent.  Below is a list of some of the results I have had this year.
